Mount Kurama is close to Kyoto, Japan. It has layers of myth attached to it, including descent of spirits from Venus, home of the king of the Tengu spirits, and site where Mikao Usui cognised the healing system of Reiki. The long hillside walks are scattered with temples and ancient gnarled trees. I have just started working on a few photos collected a decade ago.
